I have just removed this from my pc. I installed it to watch ONE programme on itv.com, since then my pc has been running really, really slowly.
Anyone else had this problem?

I would not have thought silverlight would have that impact on your computer. I would recommend that you run Windows Update and identify any components that might be useful for you.
You could also run a virus Scan to check for any strange files.

I have run anti virus scan and have a good firewall, the only change was the silverlight. Now it's gone all is well again.
Seems obvious to me?!

I assume it's a bit like the channel4 on demand thing?
I have that (4oD) and it shares out the files you have already download to other people,
like the pirate file sharing software does.
It could be something like that which is causing the slowdown.
