Sitting here looking at getting cover for my new car to protect it from the frosts :)

(If it freezes the windows dont open which means the doors dont open which means i cant get in)

Hi Cam,

Put newspaper in the windows then send them up, and warm your key on a match  -  today's technology, my oh my  ;D

If I ever get it all right - then that's the time to quit.

That's why I loved my old Volvo 240 estate, could use it , abuse it and it was so faithful. Hence Frost used one, back on topic  ;D

Well if we had any frosts here it hasn't damaged anything, my fuchsia is still flowering happily. Famous last words!

we had a week of frosts and a day of snow from  the 27th October, here in Bucks. Most plants were uneffected though - the "Scaredy Cat" i had died, and the french marigolds i had.

I still have a purple Nicotinia in full flower and several strawberries that are ripening nicely. My Fuschias are in flower too, although they lost about a fifth of their leaves...

I'm cross about my strawberries.  They're perpetuals and last year the second flush finished in November.  This year I got a handful about 4 weeks ago and that's it.  They're still flowering but it's too wet and with no sunshine they don't come to anything.

mine are also not ripening but rotting (they aren't on the ground but in a tower thingy), Lots of flowers though. i am planning to prune them back so they can rest up for next year.
