Cuttings from Cosmos?
« on: August 18, 2004, 17:16:38 »
Just wondered if it is possible to take cuttings from cosmos. I have a lovely pink one that has done really well this year & would like to have it again next year i know you can over winter them but wanted to have double the chance off having it next year.

Sunflower, as far as I know Cosmos is a half hardy annual.  Perhaps if you tried to collect some seeds that will makes sure that you have some for next year.
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

Cosmea is an annual. Take seeds.
Tie a string on the pink ones and when it is the right time get the seeds and keep them seperate. But don't be sure they will be the same colour next year. Probably not :'( :'( :'(
