WONDERFULL
« on: September 07, 2008, 22:06:58 »
I have just watched the most amazing programme,
Joanna Lumley, on a search to see the northern lights, i cannot believe what a lovely programme it was, i was so chilled out it was unbelievable i wish i had recorded it now.
Did anyone else see it & enjoy it as much as i did?.

I watched it too, the northern lights and her reaction reduced me to tears.

I love Joanna though, her voice is so soothing and I love the way she expresses herself.

I did, and thoroughly enjoyed it. To see the lights like that must be incredible.

I have always wanted to see them too
Thanks for that, I switched on to BBCi and watched it straight away.
It was interesting all the way through but the last 15 mins where they actually show the lights was great.

We enjoyed it.  I love the ice hotel and when she went to bed.  Good TV, better than the usual rubbish.

Dash! Missed it, but it's been getting rave reviews over the boards I look at. Have a friend who's going to stay in that (or is there more than one,?dunno..) ice hotel later this year.

Would LOVE to see the Northern Lights - one of nature's most spectacular shows 8)

I watched the second half of it- looked amazing but I don't think I could stand the cold (or fork out for all the thermal gear!)

Thoroughly enjoyed the show and the scenery was spectacular.  Good television in an otherwise rotten weekends viewing.  I saw the Northern lights couple years back but nothing like that.

I watched it and did enjoy it but wondered why if she had wanted to go so much and for so long she didn't fund the trip herself instead of us licence payers paying for it.
