Any hope for my sweetcorn?
« on: September 03, 2008, 20:30:36 »
My sweetcorn has been very slow this year but a couple of weeks ago it seemed to be catching up. None of the tassles have gone brown yet, though, and I noticed today that some of the tops of the cobs are "exposed", and some have green shoots growing out of them. Does this mean they are going to seed before the cobs have developed properly?  :(

Cant help much with your question Caroline, but mine look huge and full till I squeeze them. They are mostly fresh air. I reckon its too cold now for them to do much..........ah well there's always next year :(
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.
