Gift wrapped spud!
« on: September 21, 2008, 20:25:36 »
When I planted my seed potatoes I prepared a trench with manure and shredded paper in it to help coserve moisture etc.  I didn't realise that in amongst some of the shredded wrapping paper that I included was some ribbon. Look at the gift wrapped spud I just pulled out of the ground!!!

Hi Glosterwomble... any chance you can divulge where you found out how to tie your onions up as shown on your blog site? I've managed to tie 3 up at a time... you look like you're going for a world record!
