Can you get a refund on the tyres?
not having a good week either :'( sunday evening while I was at the lotty and OH was watching the golf on TV, a small boy put a hole in the large outer double glazed pane in the front window OH ran after them barefooted and found where 1 of them lived and rang the police who came on monday
to be fair cuz the kid was only 9 and was very frightend about what his catepult had done they spent a lot of time going back and forth and got £25 off the dad
(½ the £50 excess on out insurance) so we are £25 down which is not as bad as 50 I suppose
I hope this isn,t going to come 3 times cuz I,v got no premium bonds!

A few years ago our cat went missing. I was devastated. We put up posters, put letters through doors etc, but to no avail. Then a week later, in the middle of the night, she reappeared, very noisy, hungry & thirsty but otherwise fine. So don't give up hope!

Re missing cat, don't give up. Years ago when the children were young one of our cats went missing. I was keeping an eye on a gilt who was farrowing and no 2 daughter walked in to building, tears streaming down her face I could see a tail hanging down from under her jumper. Our missing cat had returned AFTER 10 MONTHS!!!!! Never went missing again. :)

No idea where the cat had been but was quite healthy so someone must have been feeding him. We were living in semi rural area surrounded by fields/farms. We had about a dozen bungalows opposite our house (on main road A141) but none of our neighbours knew anything. He must have thought he was in heaven the amount of fuss the family made of him :)
