Cauliflower ideas
« on: July 05, 2008, 18:31:50 »
hmm, I have 5 cauliflowers sat on my kitchen worktop and need some ideas for tea.  We've had cauliflower cheese for two weeks running now and OH is not keen on 'pale soup'  ???

I thought about samosas maybe (also have peas, potatoes, beans, onion) but don't have any idea how to make them (but I do have some special pastry in the freezer).  Help  :P I'm starving

Maybe I should put them in the freezer ?

Raw is great?

Cauli Moussaka?

I don't find that they freeze very well.

well one down, 4 to go.  We had cauliflower & parmesan soup for tea.  I'm going to make cauliflower cheese pot pies tomorrow, as they use cauliflowers and peas  :)

A friend recommended this idea for Cauli - grate it to make a sort of rice which makes it more adaptable.

Haven't got any caulis to try it with yet.
