eggs of sought

please if you can help ive noticed some thing been laid on my Rosemary and mint 
a small cluster of something i can only describe as a cluster of bubbles and within somthing inside does anyone know what this is do i need to remove them as ive noticed water doesnt shift it

It's known as 'cuckoo spit' and is the egg protection device of Froghoppers, a sap-sucking insect.
You couldn't make it up!

I agree with cockoo spit. It is not serious but not nice if it is in an eating area.

Fill a spray with water and wash it off.

thanks guys ill give it a go tried with a hose didn't work but will be a little more persuasive

Unless you've got a really bad attack, in each bit of cuckoo spit you will find a little pale green bug.  Apply thumb and forefinger to squish it. ;D ;D
