Horsetail

For the first time EVER I've managed to keep this admirable prehistoric plant at bay, about 30cm mulch of straw in March/April. Just keep pulling the odd single ones and loads of roots come too, may take quite a few seasons but I'm up for the challenge!  ;D

Good for you.

It is one of those prehistoric plants which has survived it all (bless it).

It does not like lime by the way.

If you have a lot and want to spray weed killer on it, then you have to give it GBH with a big stick first to bruise it because it has a plastic type coating which weed killers do not penetrate.
