Mealy aphids
« on: June 05, 2008, 16:21:54 »
I left my PSB plants in the ground because the flowers are pretty and I thought the bees might like them. When I dug them up today I noticed they were caked in what looked like grey greenfly and I think are mealy aphids. Will these now transfer to my newly planted brassicas, (not in the same bed, of course) and if so what can I do?

Dig them up and get rid of them as they will overwinter. They can transfer to you other veg so i would keep a close eye on them. If you don,t grow organic have an insecticide spray handy, If you do grow organic then i am lost.
When you wake up on a morning say "good morning world" and be grateful
