My neighbour has a 3 legged cat, she also lost half her tail (the cat, not my neighbour) in two car accidents. She wasn't expected to live for long after her operations etc, and has to be confined indoors always. She's now well over 12 years' old.

Daughters Ma-in-law took pity on a 3 legged cat at the rescue centre. The cat manages very well,
Amazing how these animals manage, just like peeps I suppose. 3 legged cats, my King Charles still enjoys her food with just 3 teeth left ;D

Out on runs around Richmond Hill I used to see a bloke walking a dog with wheels attached to its back legs.
