Any suggestions on how to keep Tomatoes watered when away on holiday, I was thinking of fixing up a hosepipe from my water butt to the tomato plants in the lean-to with pin prick small holes in the hosepipe to give a drip feed :)

you now those drip tobs from the soft drink bottels you can get them to fit 2 liter bottels stand them upside down let them drip slowly this is what my dad used to do

Down on the lotty this morning and I was showing my drip feeder system to the lad off plot 5 and he said 'I'll keep mi eye on them for you',
