OOooh I'm starstruck!!
« on: May 07, 2008, 21:20:21 »
I volountereed to help run my local organic gardening groups stall at this weeks RHS Malvern spring gardening show.

One of the perks was to go over this evening to help set up the stand with one of the committee, one major distraction though was that they were filming the BBC coverage and the entire showground was a who's who of horticulture.

One minute Carol Klein was stood within 10 feet of us filming with Joe Swift, then she was chatting to the people on the stall next to ours. Then we walked past Rachel De Thame, Jekka Mcvicar and James Alexander-Sinclair!

I really wantd to say hello to Carol but couldn't pluck up the courage!  ::)

Pity you could not get them to sign some books you could raffle to help raise money.

Hello

When we went to gardeners world live last year Carol Klein stopped and chatted to my disabled mum she was fantastic and very friendly and chatty as well as Monty don and also last years Chelsea Alan titchmarch and Phillip schofield so chatted to my mum so we have seen a few celeb's at a few shows also at gardeners world live we saw Michael Parkinson, Michael hesletine, Matt james, Dermot gavin & Christine walkden.

Can't wait to see who's at gardeners world live this year, As camboure7 said they are used to it you only have to ask and most will oblige

Cheers

I have been infected by the "rose virus"  ... I have surrendered to my addiction gracefully. There's no recovery"   On the other hand, imagine life without roses – a dreadful thought!
