Topic: yesterday's piccy of some of my toms

here's a few of my tomatoes, Gardeners Delight, Marmande, and Whippersnapper, in a mini greenhouse, inside unheated greenhouse

unheated but well insulated greenhouse at the allotment is next, then the marmande are destined for the outdoor life! all the whippersnapper are destined for baskets and windowboxes, I'll give progress reports!

Feed back? Yes please!! Not just from you but, as said last year, did all these earlies survive - & where? - & do better than the norm - in what??

We all want to know how currently precocious plants outstrip our 3" ones. And if you're in the Channel Islands!!

seeds sown 1st march,heated propagator, watered with seaweed solution, pricked out on 7th march,into 2" pots in small platic greenhouse inside my 8ft x 6 ft unheated greenhouse @ home. potted on into3" on 9th april,  fed with seaweed on 19th, no magic involved!

Very good idea TIM it would be intresting to se how we do in various parts of the country
I live in the North East and right on the coast

These were set away at the begining of March in a heated propergator. Pricked out at about 1" high into 4" square pots into potting compost  then put into the tubs yesterday. No feed at all. They are in my own mixture of manure and grow bag.

I'm in Saddleworth (W. Yorks) - still wet and quite cold and windy, night temps a bit dodgy as well but I don't think I'm doing anything different this year from previous years
