Star, where I live, a couple of years ago we suddenly had a spread of little plants which looked for all the world like wild/alpine strawberries - same leaves, same fruit, the lot. They spread like wildfire, too. I picked a few and tried them. They tasted of... absolutely nothing!

Ever since, I've wondered if there's another plant (or weed) that resembles a strawberry but so far I haven't come across anything. Any ideas anyone?
