i'm new too alotments been growing fruit in garden for about 5 years
now i'm turning too veg but not got room i have asked local council about some wastland but they said i can buy it (not giving me price)
well i keep trying with them too turn it into an alotment  but in mean time i'm going too start onions and potatoes in tyres  (knowing council they will do me for littering lol)  the land is behind houses and have loads of trees around paths so nobody walks off paths were i have started growing.

hopfully council will decide too use it if they come back and say no i'll put a fance around and claim land.

Couldn't you ask your local council for an allotment?

I have heard about a group of people in London I think who go around planting up wasteland spaces.They do it a lot at night. :)

Allotments,especially urban ones can be found in all sorts of odd places.

Good on you for trying with your idea but you would probally be happier trying to get an allotment,otherwise it could turn into a battle and to me my allotment is all about enjoying myself and learning to be as skilled as I can.
