Joy Larkcom puts fenugreek in with the leguminous category ... that would make peas and carrtos reasonable companions!  Think I would add a row of spring onions or marigolds too just for good measure!

JL's book " Grow your own Vegetables" is one I would recommend to everybody.   My 'bible' !!!  ;D

Fenugreek will not fix nitrogen into the ground for the following crop if it's cold thus good for summer use  ;D
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and time to die: a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted.     Ecclesiastes, 3:1-2
