Ikea plant labels
« on: March 19, 2008, 09:25:59 »
There are only so many plastic milk bottles I can cut up! and finding attractive labels isn,t easy unless you want to pay well over the odds, so I was pleased to find in Ikea 20 galvenised alli ones for 1.99 . this was the Bristol branch I left a couple of packs.

Just checked on their website, and we are covered by their online shopping service.  Not surprising really, considering I live less than 5 minutes drive from the Metrocentre one.  ;D  Means I don't really need to order online, of course.  Though I haven't been for ages - must go in and investigate their gardening section.

And, as I believe I have mentioned elsewhere, my dad is a joiner.  ;) .  He appreciates it when I visit IKEA, because their pencils are just the right length for him to stick behind his ear in between using them to draw lines on timber.  ;D
Tread softly, for you tread on my greens.

Of course you have to allow for the expense of all the other things you'll be tempted with when you get there! Think online might be safer for me!

I'm not sure if it is just me but when you pay for your goods, I find that it takes ages to get to the till.  Hence I rarely visit the place.

They don't cover online shopping in my area  :'(. Bristol is the nearest store to me...Will I need a passport to travel that far?  ;D

;D ;D ;D we though we were the only ones who thought like that! My joiner OH has primed our kids to collect as many as possible on a trip round IKEA! I like the look of those plant labels though, any excuse for a visit...but why is it that you always end up spending about £90 a trip even though your trolley is full of stuff costing 20p?
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Pencil will stay without fading untill you use rubber... ;D

Don't worry about tomorrow, or yesterday, just think about today.

Cam if you want to go down the pen route( I do use pencil for most labels but doesnt work on the alli ones) then I find Sharpie Markers are the better ones and I found them in Book Sale  last month.
