Slightly off thread but you can also watch the peregrine falcons at Derby Cathedral. She is sat on some eggs at present and there is quite a developed website. http://195.224.106.202/peregrine/webcam2.htmThere is also a webcam viewing the falcons at Lincoln Cathedral but it is impossible to find a link to it.
We are in for an interesting few weeks now, let's hope that egg is the first of a few as last year there were three and only two survived. In any event, she has set somewhat of a record, laying her 50th egg :D
If anyone is interested in Ospreys, there is a really good webcam of a nest in Scotland. Even has sound so you can hear the activity, albeit a bit loud sometimes :o I watched it last year and followed it though to the laying of the eggs to the chicks fledging. The diary is really interesting and well written.http://www.thewebbroadcastingcorporation.com/swt/swt.phpI forgot to say, click the webcam with the photo of the Osprey ;D
ps.I am in no way a fan or supporter of fox hunting!
