Tones home
« on: June 17, 2008, 16:25:08 »
My Tony came home from hospital yesterday. Dosed up with a load of tablets. Got to go back in a months time for a check up cos they found a shadow on his lung. They said it's probably due to the infection in his tonsils. Great to have him home though. Took him to the plot today and it took me all my time to make him sit and watch instead of getting stuck in. Managed to plant the sweetcorn at last. I think it will catch the others up.

"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Really glad to hear your good news. Welcome home Tony. Look after yourself,  that's a silly thing for me to say cos I KNOW who will be looking after you. Good luck with the check up.

He don't need no bluddy encouraging Kev. He's got me running around like BA fly. Even started taking sugar in is tea just to give me summat else ta do. Today I went shopping then to the sutton allotment to pick strawberries and tie in the new growth on the blackberries pick the broad beans.,tie up the sweet peas then on to Erdy plot to pick yet more strawberries, secure the net round the sweetcorn and water cos we hadn't had the rain that was forecast. pull the rhubarb. Got home and he got me mom to shell the broad beans whilst I was cooking the rhubarb and freezing the strawberries. Just finished that and the bloomin broad beans had to be blanched. Then cook him a mushed up steak dinner cos he can't swallow. Just had enough time to get a shower before I go to my pit knackered. If that don't make yer feel tired then god bless yer
