Rottweiler Comes To The Rescue!
Many people will have read the sad story on the message board about Belle the sheepdog who died after giving birth to 4 pups and the search for a surrogate mother.
We are very pleased to let everyone know that a surrogate mother was found.
Kia the Rottweiler, who had just finished weaning her own 11 pups, came to the rescue when her services were offered by owners Joanne & Mark Wilson of Mill Croft, Cowling.
As you will see from the photos below all 4 pups are now feeding happily and doing really well and Kia has taken them on as her own.
