Tree stumps
« on: March 19, 2008, 17:19:40 »
In my garden I have some buried tree stumps one is 3 m due South of an apple tree and 1 m east of some strawberries 2 m east of the raspberries.

Should I remove it ?  Or will it be harmless ?

Don't think its going to cause any harm and could be quite a job to dig out depending on size and decay state. There may be a lot of wasted space that could be reclaimed though depending on situation.

Should not be a problem. Is it dead or recently cut. Many broadleaves will re shoot.

I think it has been there for a long time as it was buried under ground.  It has been there 2 years + so very dead.
