Today it's quite good enough to go down to the plot and stay there for the day....but, despite the patches of blue sky, I'm busy.  :(

Windy and overcast this morning, my favourite plotting weather.

Heavens opened at about 12.30 and my wet top kept me dry, (must find hubby's golf waterproofs and hide them in my storage cupboard at the plot), despite only a 5 minute shower my gardening trews were soaked and took ages to dry out!

Sunshine and overcast intervals until 5.30.

Cloudy start with some showers, brightened up somewhat by midday. Quite breezy and feels cooler today.

14ºC and raining - 20º down on yesterday and 25º less than Friday  :)
Location: North East Spain - freezing cold winters, boiling hot summers with a bit of fog in between.

That really is a temperature drop! Do you feel the cold when it dips too much or is it a pleasant relief to have some cool?

My father (at 97) moans when there's any more than a 1oC dip  ::)

I'm hoping for a dry night and some morning warmth as I put my parents washing on the line a couple of hours ago.

It was a welcome break - enjoyed a full day on the allotment, back to the sun this week it seems although not as hot.

After a dry but blustery day on saturday, I expected a better day on sunday. Lots of jobs planned in garden.
No such luck. day just as windy and got soaked in the morning while mowing (panic stations to turn off electric and get cable and mower under cover). afternoon not much better. gave up on day around 3.30. Total waste of a day. Wouldnt have been so bad of forecast for week good.

Currently sitting at my PC looking out at a very wet and windy day.

So much for Summer!! >:( :'( ::)

I NEED SOME SUNSHINE!  But, sadly, the Met Office 5 day forecast is telling me otherwise.....

Might pop down to the allotment tommorrow to do some tidying. It is looking rather untidy which I am not happy with :( It is a little difficult to hoe muddy soil :(

Heavy showers, interspersed with light rain.

I have this week and next week off work and had anticipated catching up on the lotties, doing the back garden (repairing rabbit damage), and the occasional lunch in the garden.

I can just about do all three if I carry a golf umbrella with me and don't mind soggy sandwiches.

Somehow this reminds me of summer holidays when I was growing up and we always went to the East coast. It rained a bit then, but mid July with wellies a raincoat and a bucket and spade was still a brilliant holiday for a 5 yr old!

Recapturing my youthful zest!

Rochford Essex has been quite ok so far. Started a bit overcast but muggy. Afternoon visit to water the greenhouses on the plot a bit overcast but since I got home the sun :o is out and very sticky. Made mowing the lawns a bit uncomfortable but had to do them as the green bin is emptied tomorrow. Just going to sit outside for a bit and read the free paper. That's a novelty nowadays. Olympic torch passes this way on Friday so expect it to be persisting down all day :-[
