No snow here. Can't help feeling the media always make it sound worse when it's the south-east that's affected. ::)

My daughter works in a hospital in Bromsgrove and she is having to stay there for the night.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Well, my two men seemed to have brains made from mush today and went out regardless of the four hundred warnings on the beeb and sky news channels about not doing so >:( Took one four hours and twenty minutes to get the eight miles home.  Took the other three hours to get back from Lakeside.  I would say serves 'em right but I had to spend the day worrying if they were going to make it home ok!!

Good five or six inches of snow here now which is obviously on the way to freezing hard on the roads. Sigh. Snow I love, ice I do not, LOL

Snow still on the ground here in Plymouth with more forecast today  :D
Please don't be offended by my nickname 'Mortality'
As to its history it was the name of a character I played in an online game called 'Everquest'
The character 'Mortality Rate' was a female Dark Elf Necromancer, the name seemed apt at the time and has been used alot by me over the years.

Mentioned in an earlier post about my daughter having to stay at the hospital overnight ( and she worked evn though she had just done 14 hours on the day shift)
They provided a taxi for her this morning and on the way home she had to get stuck in and help dig him out of a ditch.
I think she's earned a good sleep today. Hope she wakes up in time for work tomorrow.

No snow since mid week but it took my Great Niece 5 hours to get home from Milton Keynes. Stay safe people, especially people like Shirl's daughter who are managing to work to keep things going.

-15 in central Birmingham. I went down to the plot yesterday to retrieve a tin of seeds, and had to climb in through the shed window because the lock was a solid lump of ice.
