Daugher's home and the M23 was clear, but it's just started to settle here a little further west of the motorway. I think most will be overnight.

Keep us posted on their journey Manics.

Bit nippy here but the sun is trying to poke it's nose out. No snow but slippery on the roads, (we don't do grit here)

Not that I am worried, the Yeti in pink knickers went off early. I've just got up ;)

they're on their way, been travelling for 3.5 hours, they couldn't dig the hire car out of the snow so have picked up another car and set off about 12.30, I'm waiting for an update  :)

Thick snow in Southend. Took 1/2hr to walk to work this morning and nearly an hour to walk home as pavements are now treacherous. The roads are as bad yet there is still the occasional idiot who drives too close to the car in front :o

woke up to a reasonable covering of snow this morning in Hartlepool, but being on the coast we don't get it too bad.  The waves were huge though, coming right over and covering the pier- never seen it so ferocious.  Someone has just started letting off fireworks -very picturesque from my bedroom window.

Now freezing on top of slush, roads are evil. A daughter has gone on a works do on a boat up and down the Thames :o ::), can't believe they haven't cancelled. Sending Himself to the station to collect her, I HATE the snow, and driving in it.
Smile, it confuses people.
