At last! Steady rain here for the last hour. My washing's getting wet but I don't care!
My son is going to a wedding tomorrow- they will be so fed up if it's wet after all this lovely weather.Have to admit that I'm a bit fed up too as I've spentthe last two weeks working all day and in the theatre nearly every night so have missed the sunshine. Hopefully it will return!

we were promised rain and thunderstorms today, we had a quick shower this morning and that was that, the sun only came out tonight , its been warm and humid all day, / shades x

About 6pm last night we had a thunder Storm and it rained that much we had floods  :o Grey but warm in Notts today.

Yes rain here in not so sunny Enfield.  Just popped up to the allotment between the rain and picked some runner beans.  If the rain keeps coming should have enough to give away, have a list of people who want 'my beans'.  Always pick them young and they are not too stringy.  Must save some for myself to freeze.  At least I don't have to water today, and we certainly did need some rain, may it continue, but not for ever.

No allotmentering today - tipping it down in SE London - patio is under water and it looks like December outside.  Back to making courgette soup

He done the vaccing whilst I did the kitchen including the oven Yuk! then he done the kitchen floor whilst I did the polishing upstairs and downstairs. Then he put his feet up whilst I did the dinner and he's still go his feet up and its nearly bloody tea time.

A lovely morning down in Sussex then the rumbles started about noon.

Bought a rain gauge today  ::) with my birthday vouchers plus another philaenopsis and a gardenia)
