The rain just about always goes round us, this year we've had very little. Missed the flooding in East Anglia the other day...well fairly happy about that!

Very windy.  Very Warm.  A bit of light rain just started, I think the rain is on its way.  We are in a rain shadow.  Think it is either the lakes or the runway.

Lakes, sounds lovely

The areaa south east of Cirencester has been subject to huge amounts of gravel extraction.  The gravel was dumped here during the ice age and now it is being used to built roads and concrete buildings.  There is a huge area which are now lakes.  They keep the thames flowiing.

They seen to affect our weather on a micoclimate basis.

We also have two lakes to NE and S of our allotments, both are nature reserves.

I think the monsoon arrived.  I was just going to get out of bed and go and do a little bit of watering at the allotment and suddenly the skies opened up.  Must have had half an inch of rain in just a few minutes.

Seedlings all watered.  Went back to bed.  No effort - brill. ;D ;D

Blue sky all day until this evening when the thin cloud made such a beautiful sunset, now the breeze has got up and battering the tomato plants in the garden!

But Wimbledon has now got a roof, so it probably won't rain.  How much money did that cost, but at least Cliff Richard won't sing.

Mind you the roof has been useful, closing it partly so the toffs don't get the sun in their eyes. 8)     Twats.           ;D ;D ;D
