Heavy rain was promised so I did not water yesterday. We had one sharp shower overnight. Better than nothing but did not wet the soil deep down, and my are the weeds loving it.

Rained yesterday and still raining now. (Swindon,Wilts) :) :) Is it to late to being putting spuds in (main crop) have just been given spares by a friend? Many thanks in advance.

The weather today in Suffolk is - still raining! Its much needed rain but we have the official opening of our Natsol compost toilet at the allotments this afternoon, so we'd like the rain to stop soon and the sun to come out!
