North Bucks - School sports day, postponed from last Friday.... quite humid, cloud building up through the day, breezy but very warm.  A perfect sports day  :)

west yorkshire - been very wet and quite cold, getting to be almost as bad as last year now - worried that the outdoor squash, outdoor toms and corn will not make it this year but considering what i did harvest today it can't be all bad  ;D but we need some warmth

Does the BBC know that Old John is taking credit for their weather predictions?   ;)

given up believing anything the BBC weathermen say now - always seems to be wrong. Prefer long term forecast as it seems more accurate.

Three successive thunderstorms in about two hours last night. We got two inches or so of rain, and the worst flooding I've seen on the site for several years. It came over the playing fields above us, and across the lane at the top of the site, as well as coming over the bank in all sorts of places. My plot is well waterlogged, but it'll drain in a day or two. Some peoples' were so bad this morning they were more like lakes.
