Rain cleared up in the afternoon. ;D
Please don't be offended by my nickname 'Mortality'
As to its history it was the name of a character I played in an online game called 'Everquest'
The character 'Mortality Rate' was a female Dark Elf Necromancer, the name seemed apt at the time and has been used alot by me over the years.

This morning at 5.45pm was one of the worst mornings that I have ever walked to work in.
The rain was driving down and the winds were severe, I couldn't put the brolly up properly because I would have lost it.
The wind had dropped and the rain eased off by about 7.30
The rain lasted until about 11.0
Then the afternoon brightened up but still a bit windy, but the road and pavements were dry, what a contrast from this morning when the world looked like it was about to end.     ??? ??? ???
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

Astonishing weather today in East Sussex, considering we were promised Heavy Rain, Hail, Wind all day. Moved outside seedlings indoors as they are nearly drowned by the rain of the last few days.

Sun streamed down almost all day! If I hadn't wrenched my back yesterday replacing dead broad bean plants, would have been out there for hours. As it was, tried to lie down for a bit, reading about establishing an olive grove in South of France.

Ninnyscrops.

West Sussex about the same, loaded up car with stuff for the spring show at 8am as the sky looked so stormy over in the west and it turned out a lovely day.

Raining now though ::)
