Freebies - does not always mean free
« on: March 02, 2008, 06:00:47 »
Boy oh boy oh boy. All this so called free stuff recently is taking my hard earned pennies. Just can't resist buying little extras.

1)  T&M seed catalogue with free £5 voucher, and most expensive packet of seeds free = cost £15
2)  Free Grow Your Own Magazine = cost £1
3)  Free spuds = cost 95p

I am sure I am not the only one. Come on now. Own up. Come on....

If it is a commercial offer - free never means free.  Simple as!
