- till now.
Multi-sowed them in modules. Planted out end June. Gave them a head start over the flea beetle? = Tim

They look lovely, you lucky thing, you. I've given up on radishes. Could grow 'em when I was a kid, but now, no chance. How did you do it??

These brassica are sort of multi-sown - but with radishes, twice as many to a cell.  Plant out as soon as they look strong. Three weeks or so, sowing to first harvest.

The brassica are there because my 'winter' cabbage weren't - so I've had to rush some more on under lights. = Tim

When I was a kid, I just bunged some seeds in the ground and 5 weeks?ish later they were yummy radishes. I tried being all methodical this year and they just karked it. d**n. Have to try again.

hi tim and all :)
great looking radishes-variety?
mine are french breakfast, I had no success with direct sowing in ordinary veg beds, so sowed in containers, great crop this year. Took me 2 seasons to work that out!
Not so much fleas beetle this year, I remember lots of the brassicas etc. last year ???.
So-you plant the whole module together, in a clump, rather than thinning?
When do you plant out the brassicas? Sow mine in modules too, then thin them out, potting them on, and plant out when 3-4 inches tall. This beacuse I only want small number, small space, can choose strongest.
Lots of questions-sorry! :)

1. French Breakfast.
2. Yes.
3. Should have been in in early May - when I put in the ones purporting to be Tundra. Now I can only hope.  = Tim
