You can get your pictures to display automatically rather than needing to be clicked on by adding image tags as shown here.

Blimey hunny.....I should say it did take a month to dig out!! What a beaut, mine wont look anything like that. I dont have the space for one that size or in the open like yours.

Its lovely GA I hope your suitably proud of it....I would be ;D
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

I tried that but it didn't appear as a picture. Maybe the size is wrong? I tried twice.

trying again ???

that still didn't work- must be missing something- or some grey matter. It doesn't make sense that posting the url works but the img doesn't- it is same process, correct?

You seem to be using a lot of extra code which is causing problems.

On the first picture you've got:
Code: [Select]
[img]http://[IMG]http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y253/nonrancher/IMG_0110.jpg[/img]
[/img]
It should be:
Code: [Select]
[img]http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y253/nonrancher/IMG_0110.jpg[/img]
On the second picture you've got:
Code: [Select]
[url=http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y253/nonrancher/IMG_0196-1.jpg]http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y253/nonrancher/IMG_0196-1.jpg[/url]
[/quote]
Which should be:
Code: [Select]
[img]http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y253/nonrancher/IMG_0196-1.jpg[/img]

You're up awfully late aren't you, Bakkyman? thank you for trying to straighten me out.
Do you see the tags above- the one to the right of the flower, the second from the left,
I've hit it and the cursor stands between the (img)(img) so I've inserted from photobucket the image url. but it doesn't become a picture when I do it. Soooo-
I'm going to bed- that's my solution- and maybe tomorrow will be another day. Thank you again.
PS- we have friends in Llandderfel, Bala, Gwynedd Wales- is that near you?

I'm aways up it's idiopathic hyposomnia (I don't need as much sleep as a normal person & don't have a clue why).
Llandderfel is about 35 miles from me.

The way you are trying to post pictures sounds right.
Which url are you using photobucket normally lists 3 for each picture an email & IM url which takes you to the photobucket page, a direct link url which you post between (img)(/img), & an image code url which already has the (img)(/img) so you just need to copy & paste it.

If you bump into a Danish couple named Thane, those are our friends ;D
So it worked just copying IMG from photobucket.com and not punching the tag for image on this forum :D.  I wanted to show this pond picture- this is a slope, it slopes away from us so I made a berm with one rock wall but hubby was afraid it might give way so I made a second rock wall filled in with dirt in between the two and planted it with ivy and some perennials because it stays green all year and doesn't look like a ring of rocks. The only thing is twice a year I have to prune the ivy which is no big deal. The fish and frogs like it hanging over but it does make the pond look smaller.  This was taken hot mid-August so only phlox and zinnias were blooming. The lilies are hardy and stay in all winter- I'm not into dragging pots in the house so no more cannas for me. You'll notice plenty of weeds- I call that "naturalizing." :) This Fall my project was to add another raised bed behind the pond, high enough so there can be another layer of flowers behind it (spider flowers would be in bloom in mid-Aug. so that is the 2008 goal along with adding more rhubarb somewhere to try Adrian's wine recipe ;D  A gal hasta have something refreshing after all the weeding!

Just right click on the code under the pic you want to use, as shown below.
Hope this helps
