YIPPEEEEEEEE
« on: July 08, 2004, 18:32:19 »
I AM SO HAPPY
I AM SO HAPPY
I AM SO HAPPY

I got a letter from my local council and my request for a plot has been accepted and I go and get the access key tomorrow. Pick up a free greenhouse tomorrow too, from some guy who wants shot of the one his garden. 8ft x 5ft. Plus the ground rent is cheaper than I expected. So happy. So guess where I'll be on Saturday?

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

If you get a good days digging and things, you could sow some seeds for harvesting in autumn - carrots, lettuce, radish, perhaps even peas, french beans, .............
By the way, get some radox to soak in afterwards! You'll probably be aching!
Good luck

Oh the usual crop, potatoes, carrots, onions etc etc.

Hopefully a dozen sunflowers for the oil, lots of medicinal and culinary herbs. In the greenhouse I hope to grow tomatoes, courgettes, cucumber, peppers etc.

Blueberries will also be attempted.

Also plan mushrooms too, which i understand just needs well rotted horse manure and damp dark place.

I also plan to go seasonal so that way I have vegetables and fruits throughout the year.

As for soak, no hope. No bath, only a shower unit.

;) Nice one Ratty, now grow yourself lots of lavender, camomile and calendulas, put them in your bath for a nice relaxing, calming soak. :D
