Security of tenure
« on: January 18, 2008, 20:50:22 »
Anyone any good on this kind of thing?

We rent our allotments from a local farmer, for what is a fairly peppercorn type rent, but have been there a fair few years. Do we have any security?  Nothing had ever been suggested, but the price of land around here, if he ever went for even an outline planning permission - he'd have to be tempted.

It depends on what your contract says ... if you have one that is.

As far as I am aware allotment law only applies to public authorities.
