Not much better here in S. yorks. Forecast looks lousey for next few days. You really feel for these folk who have been flooded. Don't you have a coop for your chooks?

Just as bad in Dublin, with worse forecast over the weekend.

Lovely day yesterday, today the wind was up and was cold but the rain held off until 4.00 then thunder and lightening and the heavens opened up but the high winds seem to have dried the roads up already.   ???  :-\    ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

The weather was mad in London today - same as CornyKev - about 4pm, the heaven's opened and I had to raise my room to be heard over the rain pounding against the window :o

After about 10mins of that with lightening, the sky's brightened and we had a great sunset...........

I'm just glad that freak storm didn't arrive when that 777 was trying to land at Heathrow - we are under the flightpath for the southern runway..........I suspect lots of other people are thinking the same.

Last year they dug a huge wildlife pond in the green gym next door to the lottie, and raised our plot with the soil. It saved us from last summers floods.
Yesterday it was brimming over, and the plot was flooding - and now our cheery newscaster promises us 5 days of rain!
Deep joy!
Anyone got a flotation device for a shed?
Why plant rows of 24 lettuces??
