Tim has a point, there's so many of them that despite swearing that I'll stick to one or two varieties, I invariably end up with anything up to twenty different packets of seeds come spring. However, I'll do my best. I don't have a greenhouse, so can't help there, but will try to help for outside: What sort do you want to grow? I.e. beefsteak? Cherry? What kind of yield are you looking for? Does it matter? Do you want just one straightforward variety, or are you into experimentation? Tomatoes come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and colours, and it's impossible to give a recommendation unless you've narrowed it down a bit - even then, you'll have a lot more fun experimenting than taking our advice. Think about these sorts of questions, then have a look at the tomato section on realseeds website - http://www.realseeds.co.uk/
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.

Are you going to grow them indoors or out? Outdoors is more of a challenge, but it can be very successful in a half decent summer (not like last year's!) if you pick the right varieties.

... the variaties i am trying next year are

Garden Pearl
Weeping Charley
Rio Grande
Oregon Spring
Marglobe
Super Roma
Costoluto Fiorentino
Nano MiniBell
Super Marmade
MoneyMaker
Siberian Early

2 plants of each in a prepared bed with Basil Neapolitan, Coriander & Marrigold as companion plants.

Some of these might work and some might not but its a bit of an experiment.

The greenhouse should be up in time to get other variaties planted up.

Wow, Cambourne, haven't even heard of half of those. Let us know how you get on; I'm not far from you, so it would be interesting to see what does well outdoors in our mini climate (low rainfall etc).
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.
