How do they taste?

I'veavoided growing iceberg types because of the supermarket ones - might as well drink a glass of water :)

They aren't the tastiest lettuce Barnowl... more crisp. Lakeland are good... grow them to have a contrast with Sangria, four seasons, Lollo Rosa and so on

Saddad - I like the Lakeland as well - they are really useful as the bland counterpart in a spicy salad mix.

Also i do use the big leaves instead of bread for burgers at a BBQ - but i think that is fat fighters trick.  ;D

Deb if you still need some i have quite a few left. Alan Romans foils for 50p still has a lot of seeds in it and they will outlast this season.
