spades
« on: January 01, 2008, 09:41:17 »
Many years ago I bought a set of garden tools which have bright plastic yellow handles.  Does anyone recognise them.  I wish to replace the border spade which is stainless steel and very light weight.  I have looked on line and in garden centres but no luck.  I have considered  other makes but they seem so heavy.  Does anyone know where I might find one?

I remember "Bulldog" tools having bright yellow handles. I still have a fork over 30 yrs old with a not so yellow shaft!!

Stanley also make spades, they also have a women's range.

Bulldog now have an 'evergreen' range which are....  green.

Draper also do yellow handled ones.

Thanks.  They look good.  Now to find stockists.  I have looked on line but I want to see it before I buy.
