Maybe OH, who is a silent member of A4A, would vote for how long it took to get our first plot (its in his name, the new one with tenancy starting March 2008 will be in my name).

We got ours the same day, with a choice of 5 or 6. (But it took several visits to actually find who to apply to!)

But that was seven years ago. Now we've got a waiting list!

     Twenty odd years ago i got mine straight away, as it was in such a mess no one else would take it on. In 2002 we had eight surplus. Now we have a waiting list of thirty one. We only have seventy four plots and a turn over each year of maybe four or five plots.

Got mine as soon as i found out who was in charge (and i plucked up the courage to talk to them)  :-[
