showing vegetables

hello everyone
I would like to show my veg next year if I can grow anything decent ! I notice at the shows they are displayed in certain ways or so many to a dish etc, is there a guide book or website on how to present veg? I know the entry form states things like 5 potatoes but it doesn`t actually say what to display them on! Any info would be appreciated.

It's very much a show by show thing.. check with the organisers if you know of the ones you want to enter next year!

This is quite a big subject and where to start is the problem
We did a stint on this subject in September I think it was.
Why not have a look in the archives and see what you come up with.
I know I sent in a few details as did a few others.
Once you have had a look at these then get back to the forum with your queries, and we will take it from there!

If you fancy showing on a very local level check out the local working mens clubs, you may have to join the club aswell.
I've just joined the onion show or next year its cost a tenner but youare assured of a prize of at least that back.
