Have Heirloom Tomato & Pepper seeds to trade
« on: October 29, 2007, 10:34:16 »
Hi, You'al
I have some heirloom vegetable (really they be fruit) seeds for trade.
Here are the following varieties:
Tomatoes:
Aunt Ruby's German Green
Shaker Village
Ruby Gold
Debbie
Mortgage Lifter Estler's Strain
Moskovich
Big Rainbow, very little left
Bloody Butcher, very little left
Brandywine - (Platfoot Yellow Strain), very little left
Caspian Pink
Farmer Reds
Glamour, very little left
Good old fashioned Red, very little left
Hillbilly, very little left
Jaune Flammee, very little left
Kalman's Hungarian Pink, very little left
Fox Cherry, very little left
Missouri Pink Love Apple
Oxheart,very little left
Potato Leafed Beefsteak
Sasha's Altai Pride, very little left
Tappy's Haritige, very little left
Tommy Toes Cherry, very little left
Mortgage Lifter = Burpee (Radiator Charlie's Strain)
I verified the origin of the Mortgage Lifter with Burpee's.
Their research indicates that their Mortgage Lifter was developed in 1930, the year Radiator Charlie first released the Mortgage Lifter,
confirming that this is the original Radiator Charlie's Mortgage Lifter.

Eggplants:
Black Beauty, a whole heap left!

Peppers Sweet & Hot
Jalapeno M, a lot left
Cayenne, very little left
Hot Portugal, some left
Sweet Banana, some left

I'm looking for the following heirloom seeds.
Tomatoes
Hot Peppers
Sweet Peppers
From your side of the pond, and anything that you may think I may be interested in.

Thanks, farmer_ron:)

I can't send you a PM as your inbox is full. 15 seeds is fine, and don't worry; it'll liik like a perfectly normal letter. I'm quite used to dodgy-looking envelopes going round the world!

Hi, Cambourne7
"Hows the Big Apple?"
I would not know thats about oh, six hundred or so miles east of where I live:)
My home is in Western New York, a few miles inland of Lake Erie. Where about twenty plus or so minutes south east of Buffalo, NY. To give you a better example we'er twenty plus miles south east of Niagara Falls, NY. The Village I live in is called Spring Brook, NY. It resides in the larger Town of Elma, NY.

So where are you from, and what is the largest city nearest you?

Ron:)

Welcome Farmer Ron :)
