update on antipodes plot!
« on: October 15, 2007, 11:31:38 »
The first season draws to a close...
I am actually managing to harvest some things, despite a catastrophic weather year here in France. I took some piccies at the plot this weekend, I thought some of you might like to take a peek at the blog, I have posted them. Maybe you can solve my cabbage naming dilemma, lol

Oh it would be so nice to be able to post again in the spring and show you a lovely lottie with neat paths, polytunnels with early lettuce, radish and carrots, daffs bursting out of the soil... it depends on whether or not I can get off my backside in the next month and set it all up!! chortle. We all must make do with the time and material at our disposal I suppose, but I would love to be able to say that in just one year, I got the garden up and working, no little thanks to everyone here at A4A who encouraged me and gave lots of advice.
Enjoy the pics!
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
