Growing herbs indoors
« on: October 11, 2007, 10:55:59 »
I sowed pots of herbs last weekend and put them in plastic bags on my kitchen windowsill. Most of them have germinated already. I'm just wondering how much heat they need to keep going and whether i should remove the bags now they are up. They are:
Tarragon
Sweet marjoram
Thyme
Basil
Parsley
Coriander (the last two aren't up yet)

I would Caroline.. the windowsill should be warm enough during the day... but be careful if you trap them between a curtain and the window on cold nights...
