Pretty seaweed!

Chillin' out at Runswick Bay

Perfectly round rockpools - Runswick

Pebbles

I'd like to try mussels in this very expensive fish restaurant mum. But now I've tasted them, I hate them.

Ditto Crab

Quite like fish and chips from the Magpie cafe though!

The harbour- beautiful!

Fossil in the cliffs - Runswick

Hang on ... there's more  ;D

My size 7's in the sand!

Dovecote outside our window at the B&B

Alfie on Dolly - she was a miserable donkey. Don't blame her really.

Alfie lost interest half-way through but I finished it off! I LOVE making sandcastles!

Alfie accosts 2 complete strangers on the beach and tells them all about the dead crab he's just found in a rockpool. They feigned interest for at LEAST 10 minutes. Bless them!

Ice cream on a boat - just off whale-watching. PERFECT!

thats a typical boy, but equaly he could have loved them.

Reminds we of when my 2 nephews at 3 and 6 came with us to a fancy french resteraunt in paris when were were on a family trip. In france they dont have a kiddies menus (we not in the decent places we know in paris) so we ordered them steak and chips and 2 bread rolls and made burgers and chips.

When it came to desert they ordered ice-cream and as they were board the waiter brought them into the kitchen and they helped the chef make there deserts. They came out covered in chocolate and had handfuls of chocolates in there hands  ;D It was a fun site and we have been back to that place a few times and they do the same with all the kids.

Some great pics there.  And next time you feel like splashing out on someone in a fish restaurant take me - I promise I'll eat the lot.   ;D

I love all the pics - but most of all I love that little boy of yours! What a smasher he is! x
