A saluki lurcher called Teddy went missing on 27th August in the SO40 Totton area of Southhampton. Understandably the owner is devastated.

Teddy's details are in the following sites. There are good pictures of him there.

It's been three days since he went missing and he used to be a stray before he was rescued and adopted so he may have moved quite far away from Totton by now. He is not from the area, he disappeared whilst staying with friends in Totton.

If you are in one of these areas - Hampshire County Council, Southampton and the New Forest Councils and work for, or know anyone who works in any Local Authorities or large companies or organisations could you ask them to post a lost dog notice on their internet based notice boards. The potential to reach hundreds of people is huge!

Thank you for your cooperation.

Thank you. I've known Teddy and the owner from a saluki forum for a few years. The family love him very very much. It must be horrible for them. :(

There's a poster of Teddy if anybody wants to print.

On the poster there are mobile numbers people who think they saw Teddy can ring. He is a nervous dog so please ring the numbers on the poster before trying to catch him.
Let's hope he will come back soon.

I've emailed the link to a couple of friends who live in Totton.  Hope he turns up safe and sound.

  • Don't look now but...
I've asked a mate of mine in Marchwood to pass the word. Every little helps.
