Topic: flowers in pots for next few months

Can anyone suggest what I can put in small pots and troughs for the Winter.   I want some colour on the patio to last until the bulbs start flowering.

Pansies, of course, they'll give you some flowers unless it gets very bad.  Cyclamen, Spirea, heathers.
