what's the plant?
« on: June 22, 2004, 21:58:31 »

this plant I have  grown them from seed given to my mum when she on holiday in Gambia (west Africa)  I know that the parent plant was about 5ft tall with red flowers the seeds were about pea size and looked like a brown runner bean
Don’t know if it is hardy or not
Does any body know what it is? How can I get it to flower so I could swap some seed!   and we can all have a go
thanks

Leaves look a bit like Ricinus, the Castor Oil plant. Very poisonous seeds if it is.
Gardening is the great leveller.
