Potatoes again.
« on: June 22, 2004, 10:07:18 »
I've got a batch of earlies that I was given to feed to the hens, but they've gone green so I can't use them. Has anyone tried growing late earlies, if you see what I mean? Perhaps using the tomato buckets when they've finished cropping, so that they can go in the greenhouse?
Sumer is a coming in....

They're normally called second croppers and will produce new potatoes for Christmas if planted in August and then kept out of the frosts.

Planting earlier will produce earlier crops
